Q:
How does the microphone perform outside in windy conditions?
A: The wireless headset uses a noise cancelling microphone to minimize background noise. This is done using two microphones - one facing inward and one facing outward. Because of this configuration, wind can affect the performance of the microphone. To avoid this, turn your back to the wind to shield the microphone when outside on windy days. You can also cup your hand over the microphone to block out the wind noise.
Q: Is there an inexpensive headset I can use during the trial period?
A: During the trial period after you become familiar with Interpsect Voice's user interface, we recommend purchasing an inexpensive wired headset to try out the voice command and dictation technology integrated into the software. Plantronics sells the Audio 310 which works very well with Interspect Voice. You can find this microphone at local electronic shops throughout the nation.
